Ս/թ դեկտեմբերի 15-ին “Նոր Սերունդ” Մանակապատանեկան և Երիտասարդական ՀԿ-ն իր հերթական օգնությունը (նորածին երեխաների փաթեթ) բաժանեց Գյումրու ծննդատան նորածին երեխաներին: Մայրեըը անչափ զգացված էին և իրենց գոհունակություննը ու շնորհակալական խոսքերը հայտնեցին ՀԿ ներկայացուցիչներին:

Հիշեցնենք, որ “Նոր Սերունդ” Մանակապատանեկան և Երիտասարդական ՀԿ-ն Գյումրու ծննդատան հետ համագործակցում է 2007թ.-ից: Ծննդատան տնօրենը նշում է, որ Նոր Սերունդ ՀԿ-ի հետ համագործակցությունը միշտ եղել է արդար, թափանցիկ, ՀԿ-ն միշտ օգնության ձեռք է մեկնել ծննդատանը, ինչպես նաև հույս է հայտնում, որ այս համագործակցությունը կշարունակվի դեռ երկար ժամանակ:

On the 15^th of December, 2010 the “New Generation” Youth NGO distributed its in turn humanitarian aid (Layette kits) to the newborn babies of the Maternity hospital of Gyumri. The mothers were very happy and greeted and said their words of thanks to the representatives of the NGO.

“New Generation” Youth NGO has been cooperating with the Maternity hospital of Gyumri since 2007. The director of the hospital says that the cooperation with our NGO has always been on the basis of honesty, transparency, the NGO has always supported the hospital at any needed time and he hopes that this cooperation will last for a long time.

The program is supported by the Armenian office of UMCOR.

«ՄԱԿ-ը ՔԵԶ ՀԱՄԱՐ» ՄԻՋՈՑԱՌՈւՄ

Ս/թ հոկտեմբերի 26-ին “Նոր Սերունդ” մանկապատանեկան և երիտասարդական ՀԿ-ն իրականացրեց Հայաստանում Հազարամյակի զարգացման նպատակներին նվիրված “ՄԱԿ-ը քեզ համար” քարոզարշավի շրջանակներում ՄԱԿ-ի 65 ամյակին նվիրված ծրագիր, որը իր մեջ ներառում էր ”Բարձրորակ միջնակարգ կրթության համատարած ապահովում”, ”Պայքար ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի, մալարիայի և այլ հիվանդությունների դեմ”, “Երեխաների մահացության նվազեցում և մայրական առողջության բարելավում”, “Շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության ապահովում” թեմաներով սեմինար դասընթացներ, “Օժանդակություն գենդերային հավասարությանը և կանանց իրավունքների ընդլայնում”` բանավեճ քննարկում/ցուցահանդես և “Ծայրահեղ աղքատության ու սովի վերացում” բարեգործական ակցիա: Արդյունքում` 197 երիտասարդներ, որպես ծրագրի շահառուներ, ձեռք բերեցին գիտելիքներ վերը նշված թեմաների վերաբերյալ, ինչպես նաև ծանոթացան ՄԱԿ-ի և այլ կառույցների գործունեությանը Հայաստանում: Բարեգործական ակցիայի հավաքված նվիրատվությունը կբաժանվի Շիրակի մարզի անապահով ընտանիքներին:

Ծրագրի ավարտից հետո տեղի ունեցավ երեկույթ, որին մասնակցում էին Շիրակի մարզում գործող ՀԿ-ների, պետական կառույցների, պետական ոչ առևտրային կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, որոնք իրենց հերթին հանդես եկան շնորհակալական խոսքերով, նմանատիպ ծրագիր նախաձեռնելու և իրականացնելու համար: Երեկույթի ընթացքում “Նոր Սերունդ” մանկապատանեկան և երիտասարդական ՀԿ-ի նախագահ պարոն Սերգեյ Գաբրիելյանը և ՄԱԿ-ի հանրային տեղեկատվական վարչության տնօրեն Մարիա Դոցենկոն համագործակցող կառույցներին և կազմակերխպություններին, ինչպես նաև ծրագրի համակարգողներին և սեմինարավարներին հանձնեցին շնորհակալագրեր համագործակցության և աջակցության համար:

"The UN is for you"

On October 26, the "New Generation" Youth NGO implemented the "The UN is for you" project within the campaign of the UN 65th anniversary program. During the project implementation New Generation organized different seminars and discussions which met the MDGs of UNO: "Achieve universal primary education", "Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases", "Improve maternal health and reduce child mortality", "Ensure environmental sustainability”. In the scope of the "Promote gender equality and empower women" MDG relevant discussion and exhibition were held, in the scope of the “Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger" MDG our volunteers held a charity action. In the result 197 children and young people considered as the beneficiaries of the program gained relevant deeper knowledge on the above mentioned MDG topics as well as met the UNO’s and other organizations activities in Armenia. All the donation collected within the campaign will be distributed to the vulnerable families of Shirak region.

After the activities an evening was organized for the guests. The NGOs of Shirak region, the governmental agencies, non-profit organizations took part in the evening the representatives of which thanked New Generation and UNDPI for such a fruitful work. During the evening the "New Generation" Youth NGO’s president Sergey Gabrielyan and the Director of the UN Public Informational Department Maria Docenko conveyed certifications to the institutions and organizations, the coordinators and the teachers for their cooperation and support.

New Generation Gyumri ECO club; Action 350

New Generation NGO office is located in school 15 on Yesayan street. On October 10, 2010 the New Generation ECO club met there at 2:00 in the afternoon and distributed plastic bags and some positive ideas about a cleaner community. After making signs that said 350 the group of 15 ECO club volunteers walked around the neighborhood for an hour and a half cleaning up plastic bottles. By the time the group returned to the school we had enough bottles to write out 350!! Then we took a fabulous picture with the group of volunteers that helped in the 350 event. Except for those that were camera shy. The bottles that we collected on 10/10/10 will be stored by New Generation NGO for another project focused on reuse.

Ս/թ սեպտեմբերի 15-ին  «Նոր Սերունդ» Մանկապատանեկան և Երիտասարդական ՀԿ-ն Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի Հանրային տեղեկատվության վարչության ֆինանսական և ՀՀ Սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարարության Շիրակի մարզի երիտասարդական միջոցառումների կազմակերպման կենտրոն ՊՈԱԿ-ի և  Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանի անմիջական աջակցությամբ «Մաքուր Հայաստան» նախագծի շրջանակներում իրականացրեցին մաքրման աշխատանքներ Գյումրի քաղաքի Կոշտոյան փողոցում: Նախագծին մասնակցեցին 100 կամավորներ տարբեր հասարակական կազմակերպություններից և հաստատություններից, որոնք կարևորում են մաքուր քաղաք ունենալու նախաձեռնությունը: Մաքրման աշխատանքների մասնակիցներին տրամադրվեցին աշխատանքային գործիքներ և համապատասխան հագուստ: Ներկա էին տարբեր ԶԼՄ-ների ներկայացուցիչներ, ինչպես նաև սիմֆոնիկ նվագախումբ: Ծրագրի ավարտին մասնակիցներին հանձնեցին շնորհակալագրեր համագործակցության և աջակցության համար:

Clean Armenia

 On the 15^th of September, 2010 the “New Generation” Children, Teenagers and Youth NGO with the financial support of the UN Department of Public Information in Armenia  in the close cooperation with  the Center for Organizing Youth Initiatives of the  Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of  Armenia and  the Gyumri municipality organized cleaning works in the street of Koshtoyan in the scope of the «Clean Armenia» project. 100 volunteers from different NGOs and institutions  took part in the project as they found it important to have a clean city. The participants were provided with relvant  working/cleaning tools and clothes. The representatives of Mass Media the Symphony Orchestra were present as well. At the end of the project  the participants got certificates for the cooperation and support.

Կարեկցանք և մարդասիրություն. քննարկում Շիրակի մարզի ԵՄԿԿ-ում

Օգոստոսի 19-ին Շիրակի մարզի երիտասարդական միջոցառումների կազմակերպման կենտրոնը հրավիրել էր քննարկում՝ նվիրված Հումանիտար օգնության միջազգային օրվան: Քննարկման հիմնական նպատակն էր երիտասարդների շրջանում բարձրացնել ՀՀ-ում հումանիտար օգնություն տրամադրող միջազգային և տեղական կազմակերպությունների մասին գիտելիքների մակարդակը։ Քննարկմանը ներկա էին մարզի երիտասարդական հիմնախնդիրներով զբաղվող կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, Շիրակում գործող բարեգործական հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, կամավորներ, ուսանողներ, երիտասարդներ: Միջոցառումը տեղեկատվական և ուսուցողական բնույթ ուներ։
Բարեգործական հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները ներկայացրին իրենց կազմակերպությունների առաքելությունը, նպատակները, ինչպես նաև այն միջազգային կազմակերպությունների տվյալները, որոնք տրամադրում են մարդասիրական օգնություն մարզում գործող բարեգործական ՀԿ-ներին: “Նոր սերունդ” ՀԿ-ի նախագահ, ընտանիքների աջակցության ծրագրի ղեկավար Սերգեյ Գաբրիելյանը ներկայացրեց “Նոր սերունդ” ՀԿ-ի առաքելությունը, նպատակը և ընտանիքների աջակցության ծրագիրը: Ծրագիրը Շիրակի մարզի սոցիալապես անապահով ընտանիքներին ցուցաբերում է աջակցություն՝ բաժանելով հագուստ և հիգիենիկ փաթեթներ:
“Երաշխիք” քաղաքացիական հասարակության կենտրոնե ՀԿ-ի երևանյան գրասենյակի ղեկավար Արման Սահակյանը նույնպես ներկայացրեց իրենց ՀԿ-ի կատարած աշխատանքներն ընտանիքների աջակցության ծրագրում:
Քննարկմանը մասնակից երիտասարդները և ՀԿ-ների ներկայացուցիչները հավաստիացնում էին, որ մարզում կան շատ ընտանիքներ, որոնք գտնվում են սոցիալապես անապահով վիճակում և չունեն անգամ տանիք իրենց գլխին: Մասնակիցներն ընդգծեցին, որ դրա մեղավորը հաճախ ոչ թե պետությունն է, այլ հենց քաղաքացիները։ Հանդիպման վերջում ցուցադրվեց “Նոր սերունդ” ՀԿ-ում գրանցված սոցիալապես անապահով ընտանիքների մասին պատմող տեսաֆիլմ: Երիտասարդները պատրաստակամություն հայտնեցին իրենց ներդրումն ունենալ այդ ընտանիքների աջակցության գործում:

2010թ. Մայիս` երկրորդ ձեռք հագուստի տրամադրում Շիրակի մարզի թվով 92 սոցիալապես անապահով ընտանիքներին:

Ծրագրին աջակցունմ է IRD հայաստանյան գրասենյակի աջակցությամբ:

In frames of the FAP Project in May 2010 92 families got humanitarian help (clothes, linen, etc.). The help was provided to our NGO by the Armenian branch of IRD International Organization.

Ս/թ. գարնան սովորական օրերից մի օր Ծառուկյանները անգամ չէին էլ մտածում, որ կարող են մնալ անօթևան: Գիշերը, երբ ընտանիքի անդամները հյուրընկալել էին իրենց բարեկամներին Երևան քաղաքում, հարևանները ահազանգեցին հրշեջ ծառայություն` հայտնելով, որ Ծառուկյանների տնակն այրվում է...
Այսօր հրդեհի պատճառները դեռ հայտնի չեն, սակայն հայտնի է մի բան` Ծառուկյանները մնացին անօթևան:
Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանը Ծառուկյանների կողմից ստացված դիմումին ի պատասխան ասել է, որ նոր տնակ հատկացնել հնարավոր չէ, քանի որ տնակները աստիճանաբար մաքրվում են Գյումրի քաղաքում:
"Նոր Սերունդ" ՀԿ-ն Ծառուկյաններին աջակցելու նպատակով այսօր` ս/թ. Մայիսի 16-ին "Ընտանիքների աջակցման" ծրագրի շրջանակներում Ծառուկյանների ընտանիքին տրամադրեց հագուստ, հիգիենիկ, պարագաներ, վերմակներ:

Ծառուկյանների ընտանիքի կազմը`

2. 3 թոռնիկները
3. Երեխաների մայրը

One spring day the Tsarukyans couldn't even imagine they would become homeless. In the night, when the members of the family were in Yerevan at relatives' the neighbours called the fire service and told that Ysarukyans's house was in fire...
Today the reasons of the fire are not clear yet, but one thing is clear: Tsarukyans became homeless.
The municipality if Gyumri as answer to the inqury of the Tsarukyans answered that they cannot provide the latter with a small house because such houses are now being cleaned in th city.
In order to help the Tsarukyans the "New Generation" NGO today, 16.05.210, in frames of the "family Assistance" program provided the Tsarukyans with clothes, hygienic things, blankets ...
The members of the family of Tsarukyans:
1. Grandmother
2. 3 grand children
3. Mother of the children.

Please find attached the application package for those organizations who want to host a Peace Corps Volunteer in their organizations for 2010-2012. The deadline for applying is March 31, 2010.

Peace Corps Armenia was established in 1992 at the invitation of the Government of Armenia, and to date over 600 Volunteers have served in approximately 300 towns and villages throughout the country. Peace Corps Volunteers work with schools to help them improve their English, health, or environmental education programs, and also work with other community development organizations such as non-governmental organizations or local municipalities on youth development, other social and health issues, and economic development.

Code-X International in partnership with ADVIT Moldova is planning an International Training course “Express tolerance through dance and music” to be held in Chisinau, Moldova. The training course aims at promoting tolerance and solidarity towards cultural differences on local, national and international levels. It focuses on encouraging active participation of youth in process of social inclusion. By applying dance and music as tools of non-formal learning course provides participants with opportunity to discover and to embrace cultural diversity, to raise awareness about and deepen understanding of cultural differences, what fosters mutual understanding among young people; contributes to the fight against racism and xenophobia. Project also gives a chance to share best practices on youth participation in different European countries as well as find new partners for future cooperation concerning active citizenship and participation between the Programme countries and EECA countries.


Participants:

Training is open for promoters from Programme and EECA countries, who:
- are interested to promote active youth participation in promoting values of tolerance and social inclusion on local, national and international levels; are interested in question of intercultural relations;
- have an experience/willing to gain experience in the field of art and culture;
- are willing to learn and practice cultural differences through creative artistic form;
- feel an urgent need to share best practices on youth participation in different European countries;
- would like to develop new partnerships for future cooperation concerning active citizenship and participation among the Programme countries and EECA.

Conditions:

The training is scheduled for autumn 2010 and will be hosted in Chisinau, Moldova. Financial support is sought for under the European Commission’s “Youth in Action”-programme granting scheme to be applied for 1st of April 2010 deadline. If approved, all costs for board and lodging will be covered except for 30% of the international travel costs. The training will be held in English.

International Conference for NGOs

This is a Call for Participation in an INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF NGOs holding from 10th April till the 20th of 2010 in London, United Kingdom where as many as 200 participants from across the world including Health Practitioners, Professionals in relevant fields, Lawyers, Psychologists, Women and Youth Development Groups, Government Officials, Donor Agencies and participating NGOs will meet to discuss issues pertaining to the Welfare of NGOs...and also to meet others like yourself; to learn, teach, inspire and being inspired. This event will be exploring the potential of a practical approach that will unleash and nurture the human capacity to create, collaborate and change positively, the world at large.

What are the objectives of this meeting? The meeting will provide a medium where participating individuals and NGOs will convene to address and discuss ways of improving key Humanitarian issues and topics with much emphasis on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Peace and Security, Social and Economic Development, Youth and Children, Health Education, Ethics and Value and Environmental Protection. Participating NGOs will have direct access to grants by International Donor Agencies.
The opening Lecture will be held by Dr. Mrs Artemis a Franco who is the President of the Center for Human Rights Research and Development, Maputo - Mozambique.

The program will include:
* Thought-provoking plenaries
* In-depth breakout and dinner sessions for strategy-development.
* Capacity and skills-building sessions; and
* Debates to stimulate discussion.

In addition to the main program, the meeting will also host book launches, artistic and cultural activities, exhibitions, plenty of space and opportunity for informal networking and alliance building. All plenaries and selected breakout sessions will have interpretation into English, Spanish and French.Who can participate? What happens if more than 200participants apply? Anyone who is a member of an NGO, Professionals in related fields, Students Unions,Lecturers of Universities and Community based organizations, the Clergy as well as women and youth development groups can apply to participate.

If more than 200 people apply (as we anticipate), a global selection committee will select a representative 200 from among the applicants. This committee will ensure that the participants at the meeting are truly international and represent a diverse range of interests, issues, and regions.

The events shall commence on the 10th of April till the 20th 2010 at Abba Queens Gate Hotel London.I can't afford the cost - Can you help? Richard Dolls Foundation has set up an Access Fund to support the travel costs for all qualified participants.

How do I apply, and when is the deadline? All Interested organizations should send an email to the Local Organizing Committee. Participants MUST be a group of 1-3 persons to qualify for registration.
